ZUID Creatives and Fontys Communicatie are starting a Gen Z student agency together

Generation Z. Everyone talks about them. Few talk to them. If the tall stories are to be believed, an entire generation will come up with a thick guide if you want to work with them. Who are they? What drives them? And how do tomorrow's creators and creators look at our daily world? ZUID Creatives and Fontys want to know and are joining forces for a unique collaboration. Together, they actually set Gen Z off with their own student agency!

Annemarieke Scheperkamp, managing director at ZUID Creatives: “Based on our growth ambition and employer branding strategy, we at ZUID Creatives want to get in touch with our future makers at an early stage. With Backstage, we already had a successful, unusual internship process that met that need. '

Annemarieke: “Within Backstage, interns formed a full-fledged team within ZUID that played behind the scenes with the professionals on the main stage. With real projects, real clients and real feedback from the field. This successful formula caught Fontys' attention and prompted an idea that goes even further next-level in implementation. In cooperation with Fontys Communicatie, third- and fourth-year students, together with ZUID's experts and course teachers, will set up a student office from the ground up. As a former student of this course, I'm really looking forward to this cool and unique collaboration. '

Students Indra, Nadira, Joop, Sander, Jannes and Lisa are fired up and ready to go to seize this opportunity with twelve hands: “This is of course a very cool and special opportunity to get to know and shape practice. With the support of ZUID and our lecturers, we really do it all by ourselves, as an independent agency with its own name, proposition and positioning. As experts in the field of Gen Z, we also really have something to offer clients when it comes to focusing communication on our generation. What we see a lot is that companies do their best, but often unconsciously miss opportunities to make a real impact with a relevant target group. We can and will help them with that, both in advising and implementing them. '

Fontys lecturer Kris Tan works on location at ZUID Creatives every week and coaches the students in setting up the office and the assignments they win. “This collaboration is an example we would like to see, where education and practice literally come together. By combining knowledge and forces, there is a unique opportunity for our students to work on their entrepreneurial skills. On the other hand, an in-house student agency keeps ZUID on a leash with the youngest generation and future-makers. That makes this collaboration a multi-faceted knife. '
