Marieke Spooren

With Marieke, we have clearly earned our spurs at ZUID. As Head of Finance, every day is a balance day for her. She ensures that money ends up in the right places and in the right columns of our household book at the right time. And as if that wasn't enough, she also monitors our budgets and analyses the big picture by week, month, quarter and year. Marieke doesn't tick the boxes of a stereotypical accountant. Her choice for a creative work environment that never stops is therefore a conscious one. She herself approaches every financial issue as a creative puzzle, because she loves that. Outside working hours, she likes to keep busy with her boys, or she can be found in the woods wearing a pair of fast shoes or riding a bike with rough tires.
